I'm full of sadness. Family is the only word you can use for these people, and now it's over. I fell in love with a country and with 50 people and it's an experience I'll never, ever forget.

It's that white out the window not because of sun or glare, but because of snow. It's legitimately blizzing right now; I don't think I can see 3 blocks away from this building. Gotta get back to New Jersey tonight....this should be verrrry interesting.

Maybe This Will Make Up For Not Finishing "25 Days of Christmas"
1. What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
Dark room photography, printmaking, commute to NYC, intern, pottery
2. Where did you begin 2010?
At Andrew's house with lots of people I love!
3. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I honestly don't remember making any resolutions. My new years was way better than I had ever planned so I don't think I was attempting to bring myself down with "I should"s.
4. What was your status by Valentine's Day?
In a relationship, fighting lots
5. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not that I'm aware of.
6. Did anyone close to you die?
Yes. Both of my grandfathers, plus some more extended family. 2010 was terrible.
7. Were you in school?
Yes.
8. What countries did you visit?
None outside of the US.
9. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
An honest relationship, motivation to be healthy, money, complete and independent happiness
10. What moments from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
When Josh told me he loved me, both times we broke up, my amazing 21st birthday, when Melissa and I finally found our apartment, being stuck in Florida for over a week, welcome week and my first SNL party, Right Away Great Captain! and Bad Books
11. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Graduating from NYU early with 2 minors!!!
12. What was your biggest failure?
My relationship? I guess? Though not my fault and honestly for the better.
13. Did you have to go to the hospital?
Not because I was sick, but to visit my grandpa
14. What was the best thing you bought?
A ticket to Right Away, Great Captain! and Bad Books, my apartment
15. Where did most of your money go?
Benny's Burritos, commuting, alcohol

Right Away, Great Captain! and Bad Books

There are soo many, I don't know if I can even pick. Maybe "Fuck You" by Cee Lo Green. Or "Her Words Destroyed My Planet" by MCS.

Hanson, RAGC! and Bad Books, Say Anything/Saves the Day/Motion City Soundtrack, the Damnwells, Gaslight Anthem
19. Compared to this time last year, are you:
I. happier or sadder? A little bit sadder, but only because of stress and nerves.
II. thinner or fatter? I think a bit thinner.

Sleep, travel, work out, read

I turned 21!! It was my best birthday that I can remember. We ate at Indian Place and drank copious amounts of wine, then went bar hopping and surprised Dave and drank a ton of Soco Lime. It ended with Marie buying me french fries then us going to sleep. Josh came to see me the next day and we watched movies and ate Chinese food.
28. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Having more money
29. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010?
Threadless t-shirt and jeans
30. What kept you sane?
Benny's Burritos. Actually, music, my friends, drunk nights in NYC, my boss

People from freshman/sophomore year, people from Berlin who I didn't see enough, all my friends from home
32. Who was the best new person you met?
Nope. I can't answer this. I was friends with a lot of people in 2010 that I wasn't as much in 2009, and I'm extremely grateful for them.
33. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2010:
Plan for the worst but hope for the best.

Yup--both from Chinatown to Alphabet City and from Scotch Plains to Plainfield.
35. What's something you thought you would never do but did in 2010?
Move out of my home, kiss a Spaniard

August, I think. The start of school was seriously unbelievable.

A few, but nothing major.
38. Overall, how would you rate this year?
I'd give it a 6/10. Lots of death and bad family stuff, moving out of my house in SP, two breakups with the same dude, falling outs with friends, some interesting decisions centered around Shaan's apartment, a lack of money, a very busy schedule

Well, it depends on what you call home. So SPF/Plainfield, NYC, Nicole's apartment, the Barney Building (art building), Benny's Burrito's, Stuy Town

Starting on Monday, so not in 2010!

Absolutely, but I'd rather not re-live them over the internet.

Neither, thank god.

Yeah. I had tonsilitis a few weeks ago.

A couple art things (ceramics, photography, printmaking), yoga
47. Are you happy to see 2010 go?
Yes. It was by far not my favorite year, and clearly lots of bad things happened.

Financial stability. More traveling. Seeing more of my friends from home. Maybe a relationship with someone who deserves it. Happiness. A graduation party. A new camera.
