SNOW DAY

In case you can't see that, NYC snow total (Central Park): 20.8 inches. And that was at 1:00 PM....it's still snowing on and off.

2 things:

Bubble tea is one of my favorite things in the world.

I am surprised every day by how long my hair is, and that it styles itself this way when I leave my apartment with it still wet (no product or anything!!)

February Fury

Here are some pictures that my friend Nicole took of the crazy-ass snowstorm that hit NYC last week. NYU called its first snow day in 13 years, heck yes!

SNOW

Best Start to the Morning

So this morning my boss sent me out with $20 to pick up some water for a professor. I got to Gristedes and picked up three packs, excited that they were on sale for $5.99, forgetting about bottle deposits and NYC's sales tax. At the register, the total came to $20.46.

Embarrassed, I waved the $20 bill and said, "Can you please take one off? This twenty is all I have on me."

The cashier looked at me and said, "You don't have forty-six cents?"

"No, just this."

So she looked at me, smiled, and pressed the "exact change" button, giving me all three packs and ignoring my short change.

New York City, sometimes you really, really surprise me, and I'm thankful for that.

And When it Snows, It Blizzes

This weekend: bus ride, red lights, sweaty palms, bliss, walking in the snow, pizza, ferrets, snuggling, lounging, closed Bed Bath & Beyonds, 2 feet of snow, failed quests, sliding in the snow, canceled bus, movie-watching, wandering around, more snuggling, campus, shoveling, waiting, departure, sadness.

This is the greatest photo of all time.
At first, you're all "Awww that's so cute! Magda and her Nana!"
And then you're like "OH MY GOD WHY IS THAT KID SO SAD!"
And then you laugh, hysterically, for twenty minutes.

PS: Hi Erica!!!

Everything is alright
